Patrick J. Elliott, Ph.D.
NIL Assessment Founder

Patrick Elliott, Founder of the NIL Efficiency assessment.

Patrick J. Elliott, Ph.D. is the founder of NIL Efficiency and Senior Associate Athletics Director for Revenue, NIL & Development at Monmouth University. A former NCAA Division I Director of Athletics with fifteen years of experience and a former Division I men's basketball assistant coach, Dr. Elliott has spent more than two decades inside college athletics — leading programs, building donor relationships, managing budgets, and navigating the business of intercollegiate sport.

NIL Efficiency was built out of a problem he kept encountering firsthand: athletics leaders making significant financial commitments to NIL without a structured, objective way to evaluate whether those investments were working. The NIL Efficiency Framework is his answer to that problem — an independent, research-based diagnostic that gives presidents, CFOs, and governing boards the strategic intelligence they need to govern NIL with the same rigor they apply to every other institutional investment.

Dr. Elliott holds a doctorate in Performance Psychology, is an ICF Certified Professional Coach, and conducts this work independently through Invictus Performance Consulting, LLC. It is not affiliated with or conducted on behalf of Monmouth University or any other institution.
